Parent Workshops

Campbell Union School District and Project Cornerstone are offering parent workshops open to all parents and caregivers. 

1)     Project Cornerstone’s Parent Workshop: Being UPstanders - Bullying Prevention
Come get an overview of what bullying is and how we can use Developmental Assets to help create a more caring climate.
Join us at Rolling Hills Middle School on January 23rd from 6:00 to 7:30 pm in the Cafeteria. Parents/adults from all schools are welcome.

2)     Project Cornerstone – for Parents and Caregivers! Take It Personally
Join Project Cornerstone’s engaging 6-week workshop series – Take It Personally, starting Tuesday, January 30th from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at Rolling Hills Middle School. You do not need to be a parent from Rolling Hills, just an adult who cares about all kids.

Join this parent/caregiver group to learn tips and tools to keep up with the fast changing growth of our children, tweens and teens. Each week, we explore new ways to build stronger kids, stronger families, and stronger neighborhoods. Data collected from our own Santa Clara county youth shows us 8 ways to help kids succeed in school, in relationships and in life, while supporting parents!

Join us as we learn the 8 Keys To Success for young people, and for their parents

Week 1:  What are the 8 Keys To Success? What specific things can parents and caregivers say and do to help young people succeed?

Week 2: Tools for building stronger family communication. Tips for building responsibility and trust in our family.

Week 3:  Setting and keeping safe boundaries/rules that teach. Tips for discipline that strengthens relationships.

Week 4:  What do we stand for in our family? Passing along our values, like lifelong learning...

Week 5:  Skills for growing, living and connecting with others. Ways our strong family builds confident kids.

Week 6:  Taking every moment as an opportunity to build stronger relationships with you.

Suggested Donation: $20 for workbook and materials
