Spirit "Theme" Days at Castlemont

We are very excited to get this year started!  As in the past, we will continue to show our school spirit on Fridays, wearing our school colors or Castlemont t-shirts/sweatshirts.   Similar to last year, we will also be designating certain Wednesdays throughout the year as “Special Spirit Theme Days”.  On these days, students and staff will dress according to the theme, and classrooms will compete to win the Dragon Spirit Award and popscicle treat. Winning classrooms will be determined based on the highest percentage of participation within their grade levels (TK-1, 2-3, and 4-5). Winners will be announced at monthly spirit assemblies.

Here is the calendar of Spirit Theme Days:

• Wed. September 26^th  Neon Day - wear your brightest neon colors
• Wed., October 17^th College Day - wear your favorite shirt, hat, sweatshirt….  from any college or the colors of your classroom teacher’s college.
• Wed. November 14^th Pajama Day - wear your favorite pajamas
• Wed. January 23^rd Sports Day - wear the shirt, hat, etc ... of your favorite team.
• Wed. March 20^th Super Hero/Cartoon Character Day – come dressed in attire of your favorite cartoon character or super hero.
• Wed. April 24^th  Hat Day - wear your favorite hat all day
