| Spring Picture Proofs Have Arrived | April 4, 2018 - 4:07pm |
The spring picture proofs have been delivered to the teachers. Most teachers will give them to their students this Thursday, April 5 or Friday April 6. If you wish to purchase a picture package, you may do so on-line or with the order form envelope which is provided. You will find even more backgrounds available on-line than those on the order form. If you wish to order with the envelope, make your selections insert money, and return the envelope to the office or your teacher. |

Thank you to all who participated in our annual Jog-a-Thon T-Shirt design contest! There were many wonderfully creative designs, it was challenging to choose just one. Congratulations to Castlemont Dragon Fourth Grader, Javier R., from Mrs. Gruetter's class, for his winning submission. His design will be printed on the front of this year's Jog-a-Thon shirt. |

This year, our students in grades 3–5 will participate in the statewide testing program called the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP). The tests in the CAASPP System provide information to teachers, parents/guardians, and students about students’ progress and readiness for college and career. Our school’s testing dates are:

The Yearbook Staff invites Castlemont families and staff to submit photos for the yearbook. If you've got great photos of recent school and community events such as: first day of school, family picnic, back to school night, Fall Family Festival, Halloween Parade, Applebee's Faculty Fundraiser, Fall Book Fair, we'd like to see them.
