	Earlier Release for Parent-Teacher Conferences	September 28, 2016 - 5:44pm	*For Oct. 31 – Nov. 4: Schools will dismiss students earlier to provide parents more opportunities for school progress discussions with teachers.* A recent change in the Oct. 31 – Nov. 4 schedule will afford parents more opportunities for parent-teacher discussions about their child’s report card and school progress. 	Apply to Serve on Oversight Committee	September 14, 2016 - 2:47pm	Campbell Union School District is accepting applications to fill a vacant seat on its Citizens Bond and Parcel Tax Oversight Committee. The school district Governing Board appoints an independent citizens committee to oversee the expenditures and uses of bond and parcel tax revenues, and report findings to the public. The Citizens Oversight Committee reviews school district spending and ensures that bond and parcel tax revenues are spent only for the purpose set before the voters.

	Paid Yard Duty Applicants Needed	September 21, 2016 - 9:49am	Are you interested in making a little extra money at lunchtime? Do you love children? If so, we really need your help. Please consider applying for a job as a Noon Duty Assistant. The hours are 11:21 – 12:51. Although we prefer you to be available Monday through Friday, fewer days will also be considered. A High School Diploma is required. The position pays $10 per hour. If you are interested in applying, please come to the Castlemont office for an application.
	School Site Council Opening	September 30, 2016 - 9:36am	One of the most important decision-making groups at Castlemont is our elected School Site Council. The Council is composed of five parent and community members and five representatives from the school’s staff.
	Pancake Breakfast	September 12, 2016 - 9:55am	Enjoy a short stack for a tall cause! Buy your tickets now for the Applebee’s Flapjack Fundraiser Breakfast on Saturday, Oct. 1 from 8-10 AM. Bring your family, friends, and neighbors to get served by your very own teachers! Pre-order Tickets are only $8.00 each and won’t be sold the day of the event. This is a private Castlemont Family & Friends Event, and only 250 tickets will be sold, so get them early! Each ticket includes pancakes, bacon, and beverages. 100% of the proceeds from this event will go to the classrooms!
