	District’s Strategic Plan Updated	April 4, 2016 - 5:11pm	At a March 22, 2016 Strategic Planning meeting, Governing Board members and 25 other participants representing the district’s stakeholders met to discuss progress and next steps toward achieving the District’s Strategic Goals. The group brainstormed what it perceived as District strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats/challenges, and members outlined a set of 6-month objectives for attaining the long-term goals.
	Annual School Reports Available	April 4, 2016 - 4:00pm	State-mandated reports, known as SARCs, provide information about each public school¹s demographic and academic data, class sizes, teacher and staff information, fiscal data and descriptions of curriculum and instruction. Reports for schools in Campbell Union School District are available in school offices and online on our School Information page.
	Spring Menus are Here	March 30, 2016 - 8:21am	What’s for lunch? The new school lunch menus are online now in English and Spanish. If you receive our newsletter in your email box, just click the “E-Flyers” link on your e-news page. You can also view menus online from our school’s home page. If you do not receive our news via email, please check with the school office or your child’s backpack for a copy of the menu.
	Rock & Roll Jog-A-Thon T-Shirt Contest	March 23, 2016 - 11:51pm	We would like to congratulate Liana Jiwon Kim in Ms. Dietrich's class for drawing the winning design. Her drawing features a dragon playing a guitar near a running track. We would like to thank all the students who turned in a drawing. The winner and runner-ups are posted in the library so don't forget to take a look.
	Year Book Pre-Orders	March 23, 2016 - 12:00pm	Don’t forget to purchase your child’s yearbook soon! Pre-Order pricing is $15 until April 1st. After April 1st the price will increase to $20.
	Spring Box Tops Contest	March 23, 2016 - 11:54am	It is time for the final Box Tops contest of the school year! Save and turn in as many Box Tops as you can collect by Wednesday, June 1. The class with the most Box Tops submitted will win a class party. The winning class will be able to vote and chose what they would like to have. It could be Root Beer floats, pizza, ice cream or maybe a new, creative choice.
	Spring Book Fair 2016	March 23, 2016 - 10:42am	Thank you to all the volunteers and staff that helped with this year’s fair! We couldn’t have done it without you! We would also like to say thank you to all the families that generously donated to the “All For Books” campaign. With your donations, we were able to give each teacher two gift certificates for children in their classroom. Which means that 66 children who otherwise would have not been able to get a book (or two) from the book fair, got a chance to shop. Thank you for helping us get books into the hands of children and empowering our future!
	Leave Toys at Home	March 22, 2016 - 4:17pm	Please do not allow your child to bring to school toys, cards, electronic computer games, or other items which may be disruptive. If your child brings a cell phone to school, it must be turned off and zipped in their backpack. It is our responsibility is to provide an environment that is safe and conducive to learning.
	Lost and Found to be Donated Soon	March 22, 2016 - 4:08pm	Don't forget to check Lost and Found in the hallway near the Multi-Use Room. The pile is growing. We will be donating the unclaimed items to charity on Friday, April 1.
