Monroe St., San Jose Students from across the district showcase intriguing and exciting projects they've created this year at the 2nd Annual S.T.E.A.M. Showcase. Come see outstanding work by students that incorporate Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics.
	Message from the Principal - Special Presentation	February 26, 2016 - 11:46am	In response to your requests about protecting your children when on the Internet, our HSC, in conjunction with the Santa Clara County Office of Education, will be hosting a very special presentation about Internet Safety. So, save-the-date: Tuesday, March 1 from 6-8:00 PM Location: Castlemont’s Multi-Purpose Building Free: Babysitting Food: Pizza before the presentation This event will also be a great time to meet other families from our school community. 	Preview New Textbooks & Materials	February 3, 2016 - 8:29am	Our District is identifying which new English/Language Arts textbooks and instructional materials we will recommend for next school year. Two opportunities to see the materials yourself, and to offer input and suggestions, are coming up: Tue., Feb. 23, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., in the Hamilton Room at the District's Central Office. Wed., March 9, from 5 until 7 p.m., in the Hamilton Room at the District's Central Office.

	Board Policies are Online	January 27, 2016 - 10:01am	One of the District Governing Board’s main functions is setting Board policies (BP) that guide our administrative regulations (AR). The Board reviews policies regularly and updates them as needed. We disseminate the updated information in a variety of ways, including in parent handbooks and in the Policy Highlights bulletin that is being sent home with students. Copies of all policies and regulations are available from the District office or online at campbellusd.org/policy.
	Check Lost and Found!	January 22, 2016 - 12:18pm	Don't forget to check Lost and Found in the hallway near the Multi-Use Room. The pile is growing. Soon, we will be donating the unclaimed items to charity. Remember to label your child's jacket!
