| Solar Projects & Trees Meeting | June 1, 2016 - 1:30pm |
Projects at several schools will require removing trees and replacing them with types that will not interfere with solar collectors. A meeting about the projects will be held on Tues., Jun 7th, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., at Monroe Middle School’s PLC Bldg., 1055 South Monroe Street, San Jose. |

Dear Families, I want you all to know that I am truly leaving here with mixed feelings; happy about my retirement, yet sad to be leaving such a great community. The last nine years as your principal have been the best period of my career. I learned a great deal, met so many wonderful parents, and was given the gift of loving students who made me proud of their achievements and could always make me laugh. I have had the time of my life and can only hope that retirement will provide me with such rewarding experiences and supportive friends as these past years have done. |

The Castlemont Home and School Club would like to say THANK YOU to all the families and friends of our school who helped with many of the events this school year! Whether it was one hour of your time or many hours of your time, or a donation of food, money or supplies, your support helps each child here at Castlemont every day!
We will be having our final Yogurtland fundraising event on Wednesday June 1st. They will be set up afterschool on the blacktop. Each cup is $3 and you may choose from several different flavors and toppings. Please join us for this delicious event! 
Our final box tops contest end on Wednesday June 1st! Please turn in all remaining box tops to your child’s classroom before this date. The class with the most box tops turned in will win a party of their choice!!! Thank you for participation in this program!
