Home and School Club News August, 2015

Welcome Back To School!!!

According to the Center for Public Education, parent involvement can make a difference in a child’s education. Do all the parent meetings, take-home flyers and Back to School nights actually generate increases in student achievement? The Center examined the research and found that creating a partnership between parents and schools focused on academics truly does have significant impact on student achievement. Our Home and School Club (Castlemont’s PTA) has many different ways to participate, that can work with anyone’s schedule. Please join us on Tuesday September 1st at 7 p.m. in the school library to learn more about what we do and how you can help. We hope to see you there! Thank you!
