Hello Castlemont Families!

Congratulations for nearly completing your first week of official distance learning.  Monday had an interesting start ... pandemic, wildfires, and let's add in a Zoom issue too! By 9:00am the great majority of our students were logged on and in their morning meeting,  reminding me that what counts is not the problem itself but the way the problem is handled. Thank you to our patient parents, our resourceful staff, and our resilient students.  What a great team our Castlemont community makes!

If you have not already signed up for a virtual home visit with your teacher, please do so right away.  We have the gift of time this week to work out the distance glitches and more importantly, to provide some one-on-one time with your teacher.

Tomorrow, Friday 8/28, some of our grade levels will be distributing more materials.  Your child's teacher will communicate to you the time and place.  Please note that not all grade levels are handing out materials this week.

Another upcoming event is our virtual Back to School Night.  We are coordinating the date with middle schools and I will share the details within the next few days.
