Starting the Year
Ms. Prindle welcomes our families to the 2021-22 school year.
Hello Castlemont Families!
We are very excited to welcome you to the new school year. Our staff has been working hard in preparation for your arrival. Our gates will open at 8:10, and school starts at 8:20. You are welcome to walk your student to their classroom-- please wear a mask and exit promptly when the bell rings.
Kindergarten - third grade is dismissed at 2:30. Fourth and fifth grades are dismissed at 2:35. Your student will meet you at whichever gate you arrange ahead of time, or you can use the drive-thru pick up area at Barkwood Avenue or at the Castlemont parking lot loop.
We emailed out each student’s identification number that you will use to find their assigned teacher on the list we sent out. Additionally, staff members will have lists of classroom assignments and will be available to help you before school tomorrow. Please note that classroom assignments are subject to change during the first few weeks of school while we balance our class numbers.
While we are not back to normal with our families able to enjoy each other’s company on campus every day, we do have an option for school involvement and a way to meet other members of our community. I encourage all of you to join our Home and School Club. HSC funds field trips, assemblies, our librarian, teacher classrooms, and more. Becoming a member is free, and you can sign up easily via this link.
