Drop-off and Pick-up Updates

If you drive your student to school, please read this important update.

Keeping our children safe is our number one priority.  Please read these important updates and reminders regarding vehicle drop-off and pick-up areas.

Payne Avenue

Starting Monday, January 31st, parking on Payne Ave adjacent to our kindergarten playground and staff parking lot will become a student vehicle drop-off area.  Safely cones will mark the drop-off area where no parking or waiting will be allowed.  To keep traffic moving safely, please:

• Have your child(ren)'s belongings ready for them to exit the car.

• Please have masks ready.

• If you walk your child onto campus, park outside of the drop-off area. Do not block our neighbors' driveways or the crosswalk.  Keep in mind that parking will be more limited with the drop-off area in place.

• The parking lot on Payne Ave. is for staff only.

• Pull safely to the curb to drop off your child.  Numerous adults have been letting children out of cars in the middle of the street.  This is simply unsafe.

• Be courteous to our staff.  We are working to keep our students safe.

Castlemont Ave Parking Lot Drive-Thru

This is a safe and convenient place to drop-off and pick-up your children.  We ask the following:

• Do not park at the curb of the drive-thru to wait for your student.  This causes an unsafe back-up onto Castlemont Avenue.    

• If you arrive early, please park on a nearby street and drive through once the student gates are open before and after school. 

• Do not ask your child to cross the parking lot to meet you at your car. If you have found a parking spot in this lot, please exit your car and escort your child back to your vehicle.

• Be courteous to our staff.  We are working to keep our students safe.
