Second Harvest Food Bank

Join the Castlemont community as we help fight back against hunger. Please bring non-perishable food to Castlemont between Tuesday, November 27 and Friday, December 7. All items will be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank. A bin is located in the school office. You can also deliver the food to your child's classroom.

Second Harvest accepts all non-perishable food donations, but expecially needs nutritious items like peanut butter, canned chili or soup, spices, granola bars, etc. Please avoid items packed in glass. And please no candy or sugar-sweetened drinks.

Thank you for your support.

Turkey

November is a time to be thankful for our families, friends, and those who support us.  When the students follow the 3Rs: Respect, Responsibility, and the Right to be Safe they can show others that they care about them.  In return that makes people thankful that they were shown respect and responsibility.  A great dinner conversation would be to talk to your students about the things they are thankful for and how they followed the 3Rs at school.

Thank you Castlemont Community for all of your support. Happy Thanksgiving!
