Awesome Art Vistas

Last year, we heard from our parent community the desire to have an art program, and with the approval of our HSC Board and extraordinary support and assistance from our first grade parent, Emily Zirkel, Art Vistas has arrived and is in full swing! Throughout a student’s years at Castlemont, he/she will be introduced to various forms of art, artists, and techniques. Their artwork will be showcased in the Spring. Thanks to Emily’s, hard work and tireless efforts, more than fifty volunteers came ready to teach, paint, sketch, glue, and support classroom instruction last week. Students worked with pastels, various types of paper, created totem poles, trains, and landscape designs with depth and dimensions. It was a huge success!

5th Grade - Art of the 1st Americans
